Walking-pad fit
Height is arithmetic. Clearance is a measurement.
Measure floor to the finished desktop top at your chosen setting, then subtract floor to the actual walking surface with footwear and mat installed. That result—not the frame headline—is the vertical space available for your keyboard position.
Separately measure the pad body against the real clear opening. Neither cited source gives one universal inner-leg opening, and the E7 Plus adds two more columns. Adjustable frame width cannot safely stand in for that missing number.

No. The current E7 Plus page labels 440 pounds as lifting load and 540 pounds as static. The E7 Pro page labels 440 pounds maximum static, while the linked V2 manual separately lists 396 pounds load capacity. Compare matching manufacturer labels and leave operating margin.
Which is better for a walking pad?
Neither wins without measurements. E7 Pro starts one inch lower and has a broader adjustable frame-width range; E7 Plus reaches one inch higher and has a four-leg footprint. You still need finished desktop height above the walking surface and the real clear opening around the pad body, feet, columns, cables, and controls.
Does four legs prove the E7 Plus is more stable?
No. FlexiSpot markets the E7 Plus around stability, but that is manufacturer evidence under its own conditions. WorkChoose did not conduct a matched wobble, typing, monitor-arm, or walking-pad vibration test, so this page treats four legs as geometry rather than a measured verdict.
Do the height numbers include the desktop?
The current product tables publish adjustable-height ranges beside frame and applicable-desktop specifications, but not every configuration exposes one universal finished top thickness.
